Giveaway & Review: Glade Sense & Spray [CLOSED]

If you visit my blog regularly, then you already know that our household includes 1 husband, 3 children, 4 cats, and 1 elderly Beagle. So when the Family Review Network offered me a chance to review this new air freshener from Glade, you can bet I did not say "no!'

The Glade Sense & Spray is a battery-operated air freshener that is triggered by motion. It is available in four popular fragrances . . . Clean Linen, Apple Cinnamon, Powder Fresh, and Country Garden. This unit can be used free standing or wall-mounted. I chose to place ours on the shelves above the toilet in our downstairs bathroom, which is off the kitchen and has a litter box nearby.

What I liked about the Glade Sense & Spray . . .

1) I like that the unit has a 30 minute lock, so that once it has been triggered by motion, it cannot be triggered again for a half an hour unless you do it manually. This prevents any curious children from waving their hands in front of it trying to activate the spray.

2) I think it is a good value. The manufacturers suggested price is $8.99, which includes the holder, a refill, and 2 AA batteries.

3) Even though you can trigger the spray manually, I like that it can really be used hands-free. I personally dislike having to use a spray in a bottle or canister. I always get the spray on my skin.

4) The scent we are using is the Clean Linen, which is perfect for us. My husband is extremely picky about fragrances. He really does not like anything that is too sweet or too flowery. He not only did not mind the Clean Linen, but he actually told me he liked it.

Suggestions for Glade . . .

Since I chose to put our Sense & Spray in our half bath that is only slightly larger than a phone booth, I would like to see a feature that allows you to put the unit on low or high. With the door closed, the spray is bordering on being too strong. With the door open, the amount of fragrance released is perfect.
