"All-in-one" and "multi-use" are terms that always peaks my interest. We live in the age of multi-tasking, so anything that helps us do more than one thing more efficiently is a something I want in my house. Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner promises to remove dust particles, smudges, and fingerprints without streaking and without any residue. That is only half of it though. This one cleaner is suppose to work effectively on surfaces such as wood/laminate, plastic, stainless steel/chrome, mirrors/glass, marble/granite, and even electronics because it has anti-static properties. Are you skeptical? I was, especially when it came to electronics.
Here are the results I achieved on the following items in my home:
Laptop Keys - This cleaner worked extremely well on my keyboard. I sprayed a clean white paper towel with the cleaner and gently wiped the keyboard in one direction. The cleaner picked up all the dust, the pet hair, and the food crumbs from my snacking while I work.
Laptop Screen - The Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner spray worked as well or even better than the screen cleaning kit I purchased from the electronics store. I just gave a clean white paper towel two sprays with the Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner and wiped the screen gently in one direction. The cleaning kit I have doesn't pick up the dust nearly as well, instead it just pushes all the dust to one side of the screen.
Cheval Mirror - This cleaner did an excellent job on our mirror. It was 100% streak-free.
Wood Laminate Flooring - The cleaner did a great job on our floors. We have a matte finish on our wood laminate floors, but this cleaner gave it a little sheen. It also dries quickly so we don't have to worry about the moisture getting under the laminate.
Glass Television Screen -This cleaner did a very good job taking all the dust and finger prints off the TV screen. The results were approximately 98% streak-free.
Wooden Bookcase - The Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner worked pretty well on stained finished wood. If you like a shine, you will have to go back with furniture polish after you are done using the cleaner.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this product. I love that you do not have to pull out several different cleaners to finish one room. The lavender scent is also very pleasant.
