Last week I had the pleasure of attending my son's preschool brunch. His class worked for weeks in preparation of this special day. They made handmade invitations to give to just one person per student. My husband attended the last two years, but this year I was honored with an invitation from Jake. It was wonderful spending what seemed like more than just one hour with his class. The tables in the room were set with hand-decorated placemats, cups, and vases with tulips inside them. They served us some delicious food. Then Jake showed me around his classroom and later on the class even sang a few songs for all the guests. It was such a lovely time.
