Giveaway & Review: Mouthman Hoodies for Adults & Children [CLOSED]

If your children have a "cool" Dad, then I have an equally cool gift idea for him. I am still in complete awe at the unique designs of these animated hoodies by Mouthman, a company founded by the original bass player of the band Journey Ross Valory. I really wanted matching father/son hoodies for my husband and our oldest, but the adult hoodies only go up to a size 2X and we would have needed a 3X. Luckily, our 6yr old son was more than willing to help me review a children's hoodie.

It was really tough choosing a design because there were too many jawdroppingly clever ones. We finally decided on this T-Rex hoodie. Red is both my son's and my favorite color, plus how can you go wrong with dinosaurs?


Take a moment to appreciate the artwork. Below are photos I took of the front and back of my son's shirt.


This particular shirt has the full animal on both the front and back, but this is not true with all the designs. That is another reason why I liked this design so much. I am happy to report that these shirts are made in the U.S.A. and are printed with eco-friendly inks on recycled 100% polyester. My son's shirt survived machine washing and drying just fine. There was no fading, shrinking, or pilling.


You must note that these shirts have a slim fit. My son usually wears a size 6 in boys clothing, but he is wearing a size 8 Mouthman shirt. Although the body fits well now, the sleeves are slightly long. For this reason, the mouth on the T-Rex would not line up perfectly without my pulling the sleeves up a little at the shoulders. I'm not worried because it is likely that this shirt will fit perfectly by the time autumn rolls around. My son tends to grow taller without getting broader.
