Holiday 2010 Giveaway: Freddi Fish "ABC's Under the Sea" (DS Game) [CLOSED]

Join Freddi Fish and her friends in a collection of fun games designed to develop the minds of children ages 3-5. Kids learn their ABC’s, 123’s, colors, following directions, hand/eye coordination and more in this delightful little game starring the adorable Freddi Fish. She is making her way through the sea and visiting her friends and needs help from little minds to complete the tasks. A few of the many mini games included are "Sandy Beach" where children get to draw in the sand, "Bubble Bonanza" where children touch letters and pictures that match the ones shown on the top screen, and "Counting Corral" where they draw a circle around a specified number of seahorses.


My 3 ½ year old son, Quinn, and my newly 5 year old nephew, Jevinn, were my testers for this game and they loved it. Some of the beginning games were just at the right level for Quinn and the games toward the end were geared right toward Jevinn’s age group. Quinn’s favorite game was "Costume Catastrophe" where he was able to pick out which costume didn’t match the others and Jevinn’s favorite was a tie between "Ship Shape" where he traced the outlines of letters and shapes and "Soup Stir" where he matched the letters from a bowl of soup in another bowl. Both boys really loved the game and fought over whose turn it was.


I thought this game was imaginative and unique and really did a great job of being a fun learning game. Also, the menu is easy for little ones to navigate: they make Freddi swim around and find her friends to play the games. There is no manual required or needed to play this game either, just pop it in and play. This would make a great game for any preschooler in your life and they will enjoy it for quite a while.
