Our youngest son just turned four recently. I have no idea what brought this on, but the past few days I have noticed a new trend. He has been asking an endless number of questions. I know this may not be considered unusual for a preschooler, but he is not asking the usual "Why?" or "What's that?". Instead he has been asking, "What if there was no __________?" or "What if we had no ________?"To give you an idea of how obsessed he is, here is a list of questions I have personally been on the receiving end of just this past 24 hours . . .
- What if we had no noses?
- What if we had no mouths?
- What if we had no eyes?
- What if we had no hair?
- What if we had no ears?
- What if we had no arms?
- What if we had no hands?
- What if we had no feet?
- What if we had no bones?
- What if we had no skeletons?
- What if there was no food?
- What if there was no water?
- What if there was no Luke?
- What if there was no Kenzie?
- What if there was no Jake?
- What if there was no you?
- What if there was no Baba?
- What if the cat had no bones?
- What if there was no snow?
I'm sure I left out several, but this is all my brain can recall at the moment. It is making me dizzy just trying to remember them all.
