Look who signed on with General Mills to bring busy moms and dads a fast easy way to put a tasty dinner on the table . . . Romano's Macaroni Grill! The closest restaurant is almost an hour away, so I have not yet had the pleasure of dining at this famous restaurant, but its reputation for fine Italian cuisine made me anxious to try the new Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites.My family received a gift basket just like the one shown below. It included all the gadgets we needed to make a tasty homemade Italian dinner. Currently these pasta dinner kits come in four varieties . . .
- Chicken Marsala with Linguine

- Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta
Here is what my family and I thought about the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta:1) My husband does not like to cook anything complicated and he thought that this chicken and pasta dish was extremely easy to prepare.
2) I've found that the flavor in other dinner kits I've tried in the past are too over-the-top, but I thought the flavoring in the Romano's Macaroni Grill kit was right on target.
3) Even our picky 2yr old twins ate theirs right up.
4) For a family of 5 like mine, I would have to buy two kits and twice the chicken because there was not enough to serve two adults and three children in one box.
I would definitely purchase these kits for my family, but they are not yet available in the supermarket where we normally shop. I hope they will be soon.
