Sun Chips has teamed up with National Geographic to create the Green Effect. As part of the Green Effect launch, they are holding a million dollar contest. If you'd like to get involved, just think of an idea that individuals, a community, our country, or the whole world could to to help take another step (big or small) toward saving the earth. Submit your idea on GreenEffect.com. The five best ideas will each receive $20K of funding to go towards implementing that idea. The five winners will also be featured in National Geographic magazine and will be invited to present their ideas to environmental leaders in Washington D.C.The whole idea behind the Green Effect is that individuals can have inspired ideas. Sometimes those individuals are not in a position to act on their ideas, but if they share these ideas, someone else might be able to actualize them. You may submit your ideas up to June 8th, 2009.
