For someone whom I have to fight with quite a lot to finish his food, our preschool-aged son thinks and talks about food surprisingly often. One of the first things he asks when he wakes up in the morning is, "What's for breakfast?" Then during breakfast, he'll ask, "What's for lunch?" Then during our afternoon snack he usually asks, "What's for dinner?"The other morning, I was trying to wake him up so we could take his big brother to the school bus stop. The first thing out of his mouth was: "Then are we going to have breakfast, then lunch, then get Jake from the bus, then have a snack, and then have dinner?" All I could say to that was, "Yes."
