For Better or For Worse: Jokes That Make Me Sigh

My poor husband was admitted to the hospital last night.  He has an infection on the side of his leg and it has gotten worse, even with being treated with antibiotics.  So, I am trying to patiently wait for tests and things to be done before I freak out.  If you are friends with me on Facebook, you can look for updates there.

I thought I would share a couple of the things my husband says to me when he is trying to be funny.  These are recurring jokes that he uses on me again and again.  He usually waits just long enough so that I am not expecting it before he uses each one again.

Me:  I have to draw my contest winners today.
Him:  How do you know what they look like?

Him:  I can't wait until tomorrow!
Me:  Why?  What's happening tomorrow?
Him:  I get better looking everyday.

For Better or For Worse: It's Rare, But Not Impossible

The first time I met my husband, he told me a lame joke. I wonder if he remembers it?

Well since then, he's told me thousands of jokes, which are usually a clever play on words (or at least in his mind). Most of the time, I just roll my eyes. Once in awhile though, he comes up with something so utterly silly, that I can't help but laugh.

Such an occasion happened the other night. I have an affinity towards macro photography, so I take close-ups of the strangest things all the time. So I was photographing the different stages of "eateness" of my Snickers Ice Cream Bar. When it was all gone, I took some shots of the wrapper too. Then my husband said to me . . .

"What if I was a singer and my name was M. T. Rapper?"
