Get Ready for Back-to-School with e.l.f.'s Birthday Makeup Sale

There is just about one month left before school starts up again and even less time for those who need to head off to college orientation.  In addition to the usual school supplies and a back-to-school wardrobe, the start of school is the perfect time to clean out your teen's makeup drawer and replace old eye makeup, lipsticks, brushes and applicators . . . all things that need to be clean and germ-free.  The fun of choosing new makeup is just an added bonus!

Since e.l.f. is likely one of the most-used brands of cosmetics and beauty tools in your home, the e.l.f. birthday makeup sale would be the perfect excuse to get started on replacing some of your or your daughter's old and outdated cosmetics.  e.l.f. is currently celebrating its 8th birthday with 8 weeks of special promotions.  For example, the e.l.f. Studio 11pc Brush Collection (regularly $30) is only $.88 with your purchase of $60 or more when you checkout with Code: BDBRUSHES or you can receive Free Shipping on your order totalling over $25 when you checkout with Code: SHIP25.  Both promotions end on August 5th, 2012 and you can only use one promo code with each order.

Since the beginning of July, I have been starting to think ahead for Christmas.  Stocking stuffers would be so much easier if my daughter were old enough to wear makeup.  Now is the time to take advantage of e.l.f.'s birthday promotions to pick up a few bottles of nail polish and some glitter eyeliner for your teen's stocking.  For more ideas, visit EyesLipsFace.com to checkout their "Gifts for Teens" category.

Easy-to-Follow Eye Make-Up Tutorials from EcoTools

In the year 2007, Paris Presents, the company behind EcoTools, launched a line of bath products and beauty accessories that are eco-friendly. Their latest additions to this line are make-up brushes for both the eyes and the face.

This earth-friendly 6-piece eye brush set has bamboo handles. The soft bristle brushes are 100% cruelty free. The cotton and hemp carrying pouch is made of natural undyed fibers. Even the ferrules are made of recycled aluminum. On a practical note, the five sizes of brushes give you versatility and the mirrored carrying pouch is compact and handy.

I chose two eye make-up tutorials to share with my readers because my eyes are my weakest point. My eyebrows are sparse and my eyelashes are not as thick and long as they use to be. Then add eyeglasses on top of that and I think my eyes just get lost.

You can find EcoTools at major retailers, such as Target, Rite Aid, and Walgreens. Also look for EcoTools at Walmart this spring!

Thank you to Paris Presents for sending a sample set of brushes free of charge and for providing information about EcoTools for us to base this article upon.
