I have eaten fortune cookies all my life, but I've never had ones like these gourmet fortune cookies from FancyFortuneCookies.com . I never knew they could come in so many varieties. Some of them are so colorful and fun, it seemed like a shame to eat them (of course, that didn't stop my family from eating every last one).
Fancy Fortune Cookies, the home of the Giant Fortune Cookie, also offers personalized fortunes to fit your occasion. Both major corporations and celebrities, like Oprah Winfrey, rely on these unique cookies for promotions and gifts. My husband and I actually threw a traditional Chinese banquet for our wedding reception and these would have been perfect wedding favors for the guests. They look so festive and fun, but elegant at the same time.
What my family and I thought about these assorted fortune cookies:
1) I was so impressed when the cookies arrived. They were packaged so carefully that not one fortune cookie was broken or even cracked.
2) I was skeptical about freshly baked cookies having a 60 day shelf life, but each cookie was crisp and fresh whether they were plain or had been dipped in chocolate.
3) My favorite flavor is the classic vanilla dipped into milk chocolate with confetti sprinkles, while my dear husband preferred the chocolate-dipped chocolate fortune cookies.
4) Our 5yr old loved any flavor of chocolate-dipped, while his 2yr old sister liked all of the fruit flavored fortune cookies. Their 2yr old brother was not so discriminating. He loved them all!
