Our daughter wore this dress to a birthday party this summer.  It was a country-themed party with straw hats and mustaches.  This was really the perfect dress because the knotted denim top with the rhinestones on the faux flap chest pockets gives the dress a hint of country western style.  The high-low hemline and lightweight colorful printed fabric makes this dress ideal for summer.

RMLA Stripe Flower Lace Skirt Cardigan Top Outfit and Bixbee Pink Sparkalicious Girls Medium Duffle Bag

In addition to the RMLA dress, we ordered this super-cute and sporty RMLA Cobalt Blue Stripe Flower Lace Skirt Cardigan Top Outfit.  Lace overlay seems to be a huge trend this summer.  This outfit features a faux tie-front cardigan trimmed with lace at the sleeves and has built-in shorts underneath the skirt.  The floral applique on the striped top is also embellished with rhinestones.  This RMLA 2-piece set also comes in Pink, Purple, and Seafoam.  I was tempted to get one of each color because this is such a cute outfit and it's playground-friendly, making it perfect for back-to-school.

Oh, I can't forget to tell you about the Bixbee Pink Sparkalicious Medium Duffle Bag!  Can you guess what's inside?

I often wonder how my daughter turned out to be such a girly girl.  She spends most of her time with her two brothers, plays basketball with the boys at recess, and can break a board with her fist at Taekwondo.  Still, she is one of the daintiest girls I know, which is why I am not surprised how much she fell in love with these photo real dresses by KidCuteTure.

It's Friday!  That means I've been browsing the new sales on Zulily.  I love shopping on the weekends because I only pay shipping on my first order and get free shipping on everything else from Friday through midnight on Sunday.  If you read last week's Weekend Wishlist, then you'll know I was pretty disappointed that the 'Who's There?' Shop 'n' Share: Brand Name Clothing at BJ's Wholesale Club

Although my family shops at BJ's Wholesale Club weekly and have purchased clothing and shoes there in the past, I have never taken my time to closely look through their vast clothing section. I usually know what I need. If I needed pajamas for the children, then I would know exactly where to look. When BJ's invited me to check out their spring fashions and gave me a $25 gift card to shop for my family, this gave me the perfect excuse to take a closer look at the clothing available at BJ's.

I have always known that BJ's sold some brand name clothing, but I do not remember seeing so many brand name labels in the past. I was very pleasantly surprised and took extensive notes, so that I could share my finds with my readers. Here are some of the bargains that stood out to me the most . . .

Those deserve a whole separate article.

Review: Girl's Dress by Happy Green Bee

Having spent most of her time with her two brothers, my little girl has learned to be tough and can play cars with the best of them. Despite that, she also has an affinity for "girly" things like dolls, tutus, and dresses.

Since my daughter is still active no matter what she is wearing, I was happy to be presented with the opportunity to review a design from the online children's boutique Happy Green Bee. The children's clothing offered at this boutique have fun bright attractive colors. More importantly, the clothing is designed with children in mind.

What I thought about this girls dress from Happy Green Bee:

1) I was very impressed with the quality of this dress. It washed very well with no shrinking or pilling.

2) The dress is very comfortable and easy to move in . . . two very important features for an active child.

3) The petal-style hem makes this dress perfect for a girl who likes to be an individual and has her own opinions about everything (just like my daughter).

4) We had a little difficulty getting the dress over her head. I think the neck opening could use a tiny bit more stretch perhaps?

5) Normally, a dress of this length would not require a diaper cover, but I would like to see one included for the younger children. My daughter thought it was great fun to lift the dress up and play with the petals.

6) I could tell that my daughter loved this dress. It is a "fun" dress. There is lots of movement from the flouncy hem when she walks, kicks up her feet, and twirls around.
