I Could Use New KitchenAid Appliances from Sears . . . How About You?

I know I am the one who usually hosts the contests, but I actually entered one recently . . . the Sears and KitchenAid Appliance Contest! Even though I will probably be begging for your votes in November, I wanted to share this contest with my readers because I am sure some of you could use new kitchen appliances as much as or even more than I do. The entry could not be any easier. All you need to do is upload a photo of your kitchen and write one or two sentences about why you need to win this contest. Then the next stage will be voting.

Based on the photo alone, I don't think I stand a chance. What you cannot see in the photo is . . .

• Our stove is all rusty
• Our dishwasher leaks water onto the floor
• The ice maker in our refrigerator flooded our kitchen and is now permanently disconnected
