My son and I have decided to try to continue on with Project Yellow at least until Anna's new project starts. I think he is getting bored of yellow though, so we will have to see how long he lasts. For our fourth photo, my 4yr old son chose one of his favorite Dr. Suess books, which happens to be yellow!

For our third installment of Project Yellow, my son chose his "bop bag" which is an inflatable teetering punching bag. It was quite a challenge to figure out how to photograph this item as something more than a mere phalic symbol. I decided to try a shot of it in front of a portrait of my son in his taekwon do uniform. I figured there has got to be at least a loose connection between a punching bag and martial arts, right? . . . . . . Project Yellow: Take One

Today, I am participating for the first time in a new photo meme called Project Yellow, hosted by Anna of Anna Carson Photography. I have decided to take on this photo challenge as a team with my 4yr old son Jake. Who better to have as a partner than someone with a fresh view of the world around us? Together Jake and I will attempt to find and capture all the fun and beautiful yellow things we can find. We are both very excited to have something that is just his and mine to share. These things have been growing fewer since the twins invaded Jake's world at the beginning of 2007.
