Project Black: Take Nine

Okay, so I changed my mind. I found one more black photo to post before Jake's and my finale. So Saturday will be our last Project Black (unless I change my mind again). This is our beagle Buddy's snout. He just turned fourteen on July 10th. Beagles are suppose to be hunting dogs, but this one couldn't sense a skunk if he was standing right behind him. He can smell a hamburger from two floors away though. LOL!! Whether he is one or fourteen, eating and sleeping are his favorite pastime.

If you can't guess what you're looking at by the third photo, it's Jake's bicycle helmet with an Operation Overdrive Black Power Ranger on the side. Project Black has been so much fun, but I think #9 will be Jake's and my last installment. It's a good one though, I promise! I just think I have to start making some blog posts with some actual paragraphs with words in them. LOL!!!

Jake's cat Tigger wanted to get in on the act too. One of his favorite games is to take possession of a car, dare you to take it away from him, and then knocks it onto the floor.

This is the power cord for my beloved laptop (Did I type laptop? I meant digital camera. That's what I get for posting so late at night). I'd be lost without it. Oh, and I finally was able to recruit my son to start helping me with this project so my next photo will be a joint effort.

Here is my fourth installment for "Project Black." This isn't just any fabric. It is a shot of my favorite duvet cover. I loved it so much that I purchased two of them. It is heavy enough to use alone during the warm months and has held up very well over the years against children climbing on it, dogs drooling on it, and cats kneading on it.

Project Black: Take Two

Here is my second installment for Project Black. These photos are of the markings on our cat Oreo. I've always loved how she has a big heart on her side to match the one inside her.

Can you tell by this photo why we decided to name her Oreo?

Thank you for all the inquiries about whether my son Jake will be partnering up with me on this project as he's done in the past. He will certainly be helping me, but probably not with every photo this time. I think the novelty is wearing off for him.

Also, sorry I didn't get to visit as many of the first round of photos as I wanted. I'll try to do better for the second round.
